What counts as a group?
A group is a single unit you collect feedback for — a course section, a clinic, a training cohort, or a client engagement. Each group has its own roster, its own surveys, and its own dashboard, and your plan sets how many you can run at once. You send to a group, and results trend at the group level and roll up from there.
How does the first month free work?
Every plan starts with a full month free. We ask for a card at signup, but there's no charge until day 30, and you can cancel anytime before then without paying. If you keep going, billing begins automatically when the free month ends — no separate sign-up step, and nothing to remember to turn on.
How is SMS billed?
SMS delivery is included in your plan up to its monthly text quota — 500 texts per seat on Starter, 5,000 per seat on Pro. Your plan covers the platform too: surveys, dashboards, AI sentiment, and alerts. Enterprise quotas are custom to your rollout.
Do respondents need an app or account?
No — a text and a tap. Respondents get an SMS with a secure link, open it, and answer in under a minute. There's no app to install, no account to create, and no password to remember, which is why response rates tend to hold up.
Can we customize the questions?
Yes. Every survey starts from a standard core set that stays constant, and you layer your own custom questions on top. The core keeps results comparable across groups and over time, while the custom questions capture what's specific to your program.
How do you handle student data and consent?
Enrollment starts with a welcome text that explains the program, and every message carries a clear opt-out that's honored at every send — TCPA-compliant opt-in and opt-out throughout. For education, FERPA compliance options are available, and responses go to the group's administrator as feedback, never sold or shared. What happens if we hit our text limit?
Sends pause once you hit your plan's monthly text quota, and pick back up when the month resets or you upgrade to a plan with more room. Your dashboard shows a running count and warns you as you approach the limit, so it never catches you mid-term. Enterprise plans have a custom quota sized to your rollout.
